2023 NIL Summit Highlights

This past weekend, INFLCR hosted its second annual NIL Summit at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. INFLCR’s NIL Summit allows student-athletes and professionals in the NIL workspace to highlight and celebrate key achievements made by student-athletes this past year while also teaching them how to efficiently use their resources so that they can capitalize on potential NIL deals now and in the future.

Companies like Instagram, Miller Nash, Invesco QQQ, and Lululemon sponsored lessons that taught student-athletes a variety of invaluable lessons such as navigating legal problems, increasing wealth in the future, creating and capturing meaningful stories, and more.

Like last year’s annual summit, the roster of guest speakers, this year’s lineup did not disappoint. It consisted of speakers from a variety of fields, including social media creators like Jenna Bandy and Brandon Beloti, student-athletes like Anna Camden and Chase Griffin, and professionals like Michael Vick (Fox Analyst) and EJ Larratta (Senior Director at HUDL).

The NIL Summit also celebrates student-athletes and their achievements. This year’s selection committee included Nicole Auerbach (The Athletic), Andy Wittry (On3), Jim Cavale (INFLCR), among a few others. This year’s nominee pool was nothing short of spectacular, including stars like Hailey Van Lith (Louisville), Armando Bacot (UNC), Caitlin Clark (Iowa), Blake Corum (Michigan), and Emily Cole (Duke). Some notable winners include LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson (Innovator of the Year), Lake Erie’s Dieunerst Collin (Breakthrough Athlete of the Year), and Los Alamitos High’s Malachi Nelson (High School Athlete of the Year).
