Baylor University and The Brandr Group Team Up for Group NIL Licensing

Baylor University and The Brandr Group (TBG) teamed up to offer student-athletes even more ways to capitalize on NIL deals. This pathway will provide co-branding opportunities using Baylor’s official trademarks and logos.

“We are pleased to partner with The Brandr Group as we move into the next phase of NIL for Baylor Athletics. This relationship will open doors for our student-athletes, allowing them to participate in exciting opportunities in a rapidly changing and growing space,” said Director of Athletics Mack Rhoades. “As we have evaluated options, we have been intentional and strategic in finding a partnership that would best support our 500+ student-athletes with group licensing opportunities, while also stewarding relationships with existing and future licensees and retailers. We are incredibly excited for our fans to have new ways of supporting Baylor and our exceptional student-athletes.”

TBG, a brand management, marketing, and licensing agency, will manage this new program as well as develop opportunities for student-athletes to use these trademarks in NIL deals.

Products that incorporate team logos and player names have been raking in money for professional teams for years – now, Baylor student-athletes will be able to cash in on similar merchandise opportunities with their NIL deals.
